Sorry, but I’ve never looked at a woman wearing Pleats Please and thought “Chic!” It’s somewhere on the dumpy axis between airport-functional and millennial accountant. It’s so thin… However, one only has to see one photo of Tina Chow to covet Fortuny. (Covet being the operative word. Price upon request is really going out of style.) The difference in quality is clear in photos, and in drape. I’ve avoided the pleated style completely, not wanting the budget option nor the premium.
